Katy Perry Joins Blue Origin’s Upcoming Space Mission

Blue Origin

Pop star Katy Perry is heading to space with Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos's space company, on its next crewed mission this spring. She will be joined by CBS host Gayle King, Bezos’s fiancé Lauren Sánchez, and a diverse team including scientist Amanda Nguyen, producer Kerianne Flynn, and former NASA engineer Aisha Bowe. This marks Blue Origin’s 11th human flight aboard the New Shepard rocket.

Sánchez had hinted at an all-female crew in 2023 but kept the names under wraps until now. The announcement comes shortly after Blue Origin successfully launched a six-person crew into space, continuing its streak of human flights that began in 2021.

FBI Blames North Korea for $1.4B Bybit Hack

Shubham Dhage

The FBI has attributed the $1.4 billion hack at cryptocurrency exchange Bybit to the North Korean group known as TraderTraitor. The breach, on February 21, resulted in the theft of 401,346 Ethereum, which was quickly converted into Bitcoin and dispersed across various blockchains.

The FBI warned that the funds are likely being laundered, making recovery difficult. Bybit has offered a $140 million bounty to help trace and freeze the stolen crypto, while security firms assist in the ongoing investigation.
